Taste the Flavors of KubaNival Tropikal

Hey dK Fam, Did you know it's cocktail season!?!  Tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo, also known as my birthday, (I'm Tiana Denine the founder of digitalKENTE^® for those that are new here, welcome!) so May 5th is basically a national holiday :-)

This 2022 spring/summer season I have taken print inspiration from Carnival culture of the Caribbean islands and Brazil. Wearing these new brightly colored prints during your workouts should keep you motivated to move, and bring an aura of celebration to every moment. My team and I took a trip to Barbados to capture our KubaNival Tropikal print motifs, which celebrate Caribbean carnival culture. We wish you all could have been there to enjoy the Atlantic sun and authentic rum. So, let's celebrate the summer season now and perfect your party hosting skills with this simple Barbados Rum Punch recipe!

Say it with me:

2 of Sweet

3 of Strong

4 of Weak

Put 2 cups of brown sugar syrup in a jug. Add 3 bottles of tonic water, the juice of 3 good limes and 12 oz of Barbados Mount Gay Rum. Stir and chill. Later add ice and 1 more serving of tonic water. Pour into your favorite cocktail glass. Sprinkle your drink with grated nutmeg and add sliced lime to remove the sweetness. Yum! Watch and learn from a true Bajan here!
