digitalKENTE has been chosen to be 1 of 8 finalist for the Black Girl Ventures Pitch Competition this fall! WOW! I am soo excited for this event and for the exposure that this brand will receive during this next season of harvest. What a harvest it will be! I will have more information in the coming weeks to share so that you all know how to vote for digitalKENTE with your $ during the airing of the competition on the BGV YouTube channel. For now, please mark your calendars with this date: October 7th 2021!
NEW PRINTS
Delicious new prints have arrived in the online shop! This year, 2021–2022 we are taking inspiration from Carnival culture of the Caribbean Islands and Brasil. I chose these locations, cultures and this theme to bring bright joyful bursts of color your way. Color can help lighten the mood and lift your spirit, music can make you move and bring you joy, and dance keeps your body moving and the blood flowing. So what better way to bring you joyful movements than through historic African, Caribbean, soca, and samba sounds, textures and colors. Browse through our current product offering and learn more about the Brasil inspired "Bahia Beach" print and our Caribbean inspired "KubaNival Tropikal" print. An artists' work is never done, so look out for new products coming soon that will feature these new prints. We may have a cozy apparel addition coming this fall/winter season to keep you warm during snowy days!
